Vaderdagkaart

Hallo!

Hello! I wanted to post this card before I go to bed. This is the second card that I made for the utch magazine Hobbyjournaal. I have made father's day card.

My card has the shape of a suitcase. I made the suitcase from kraft cardstock from Elzybells. I have handstitched the white line. I made the handles from a separate piece of kraft cardstock and I attached them on the inside. I have made a tag with the sentiment (for daddy) and I used a chain to attach it to the suitcase.

The suitcase closes with 2 ribbons that are wrapped around the suitcase. I used my quickutz to make 2 buckles from kraft paper. I made them darkbrown with ink and then I applied liquid applique on them. You can slide the ribbon from the card to open it.

And this is what you will see when you will open the card. The paper folds out and on top of it I have printed my image and the sentiment. In the middle of a sheet of paper I printed the image from the Digishack. Dad's day remote is a perfect father's day image, because who doesn't have a father like this? I used a black fineliner to create the pattern on the chair and slippers and then I colored the image with my pencils.

Tiddly Inks - Annie's diploma

Goedeavond!

Goodevening everyone! This month I was asked again to make 2 cards for the dutch magazine hobbyjournaal and this is the first card. I have used the very cute image Annie's diploma from Tiddly Inks. I have colored the image waith derwent pencils and the eyes of  Annie were colored with a black glaze pen. I have cut the image out with the oval nestabilities and I doodled on the edge of the oval with a black fineliner. I made a cut on the fold of the card for a popup with the sentiment on the inside of the card. I have used black striped paper for the background of my card. With a black fineliner I have written some things realted to school on the striped paper. To cover up the cut in the fold of the card I used black paper. I have embossed the black paper with a edge punch from Fiskars.

I had forgotten to make a picture of the inside of my card and so I did that today. The sentiment was printed (congratulations with your diploma) and then I cut it out with my nestabilities. The word diploma was made with the olivia alphabet from quickutz.

Softpencil Anniversary bloghop - Happy sailors

Hoi, hoi!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Softpencil Anniversary bloghop. To celebrate that Elizabeth started her shop with the cutest digi stamps a year ago, they are celebrating with a bloghop today! If you came here from the blog of Melissa, you are at the right place, if not please go the Softpencil blog to start the bloghop.

This is the card that I made for the bloghop. The image that I used is is Happy sailors. I have colored the image with derwent pencils. I used a black glaze pen to color the eyes of Timmy and Molly. I have colored the dots on the sail of the boat white with a white gelpen. The image was cut out with the rectangle nestabilities and I doodled on the edges of the rectangle with a blue fineliner. I used a darkblue card for the base and added a piece of red-white striped paper on top of it. On top of that I used a blue ribbon and two white buttons. I will add the sentiment later when I know for who my card will be.

:) Gelukkige huisvrouw here I come. ;)

I also decorated the inside of my card. On a white square I printed the striped pattern  and also the image of Molly and Timmy. I colored them again with derwent pencils.
Thanks for your visit to my blog! The next blog on the hop is from Marsha! I cannot wait to do the bloghop myself but that will have to wait until friday, because tomorrow I am going to the cinema with my friends. :)

Cadeau envelopjes

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! I have made these money wallets in the past weekend. I thought it would be nice to make some money wallets for the graduation period. They are all very simple . The first 2 wallets are made from the same paper in 2 different colors. I have printed a pattern and on top of that the sentiment (Graduated? Congratulations). The black wallet closes with a strip of red paper that I wrapped around the wallet and I added a button on top of it.

The purple wallet is exactly the same as the black one. The only difference is that I used a white cord, so the wallet stays closed.

I have used the same colors and image for my 3th wallet as for the card that I made for the last DU2DS challenge. The wallet was made from darkblue papicolor paper. I added a strip of lightblue striped paper on top of it and on top of that I added a strip with the sentiment (Congratulations on your graduation) and faux stitching. The image that I used is a digistamp Cheers from the Digishack and I colored it with my derwent pencils. The image was cut out with the square nestabilities. With a blue fineliner I have drawn faux stitching on the edges. The wallet closes with a piece of velcro. I used a white gelpen to draw the faux stitching on top and under the striped paper.

Tiddly inks 6 - Bring on the bling!

Goedemorgen allemaal! :)

Goodmorning everyone! As you can see I gave my blog a new look. I still was using my snowstars background and although we had a really long and cold winter, I thought it was time now for another look. I am not satisfied yet, but for now this look of my blog is ok. :)
Today we are starting with already the 6th challenge on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and this week we have a fun theme: Bring on the bling. On your cards we want to see a tiddly inks image offcourse and glitter, sparkle, rhinestones etc. Not very difficult, so I hope you all win join the challenge. On my card I used this very cute image from Christy. Treehugger was drawn after a trip to Yellowstone park when Christy's daughter was hugging trees. So cute!  I have coloured the image with my pencils and as always I have colored the eyes with a black glaze pen for some extra sparkle! I added little flowers/blossom to the tree with flowers that were punched. In the middle of the flowers I added little chrystal hotfix stones. I also gave the girl a flower in her hair. The image was cut out with the deckled nestabilities. I used the Out of the box technique to cut the top of the tree. You can find it on Splitcoaststampers. So easy to do! The sentiment is from a set of Dutch sentiments from Stamping Bella. I have used a soft pink dotted background on my card that was made with the set A bit washed out from Pink Petticoat. I added a white ribbon and bow and on top of the knot I added a large chrystal hotfix. I used medium hotfix stones to create the swirl. Please come and take a look at what the other Tiddly Inkers made for you at the  Tiddly Inks challenge blog.

Tiddly Inks - Hey cupcake

Goedemorgen allemaal.

Goodmorning everyone! I love the beautiful weather we have overhere and today is also a holiday, so that is more fun! :) I made this card a while ago, but I never posted it. The image I used is one of the Curly Q's from Tiddly Inks and this is the lovely Cheery Q.  I have colored the image with derwent pencils and cut it out with the oval nestabilities. I added a couple of purple hotfix stones on the oval.  I have used the dotted paper a couple of times before. I love the color combination! The edge of the purple strip was punched with the dotted scallop border punch from EK Succes. The flower was made with the florap punches from Nellie Snellen. The sentiment was printed first and then I used a little circle punch to cut it out.

Softpencil challenge - Color challenge

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! Yesterday I have made this card for the challenge from Softpencil and this time they have a color combination. They want you to use the primairy colors (red, yellow and blue) on your card. These colors are together not my favorite combination, but when I was looking through my softpencil images I found this cute image and then I got an idea. The image that I used is Girl-kite-puppy and I colored it with my pencils. The eyes of the girl and dog were colored with a black glaze pen and I used a white fineliner for the dots on the kite. I have printed my sentiment (congratulations) under the image. I added a bow from red ribbon and with a gluedot I attached a button on top of the bow. I have used a red dotted card as my base. The flowers were made with the retro punches and I used a red and white fineliner to draw dots on the flowers. I used a black hotfix stone in the middle of the flower.

DU2DS 038 - One for the boys

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! We have a new challenge for you from the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge blog and this week the theme is One for the boys, we want to see a card for a man or a boy. Not a really easy task, so it is was a real challenge for me. :) Over here the school exams just have begun and so I need a couple of graduation cards. The image I used on my card is from The digishack and I think it is perfect for a graduation card for a boy. I have colored the image with my derwent pencils after I removed the english sentiment and replaced it with a dutch sentiment (cheers mate!) With a blue fineliner I did the faux stitching on the edges. I have made stepcard, they may look hard to make, but they are really easy. I have used light blue striped paper for the sides of the card. I added a couple of dark blue stars to decorate the sides a bit. On a small rectangle I printed the sentiment (congratulations) and I also added a couple of stars on it (but you can't see that on my picture). The sentiment geslaagd (graduated) was made with the moxie alphabet from quickutz. Please take a look at the DU2DS challenge blog, because the others from the DT made awesome cards.

Tiddly inks 5 - No designer paper. Create your own design paper.

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! Wow time flies. it is already time for a new challenge from Tiddly inks and this week we have a fun challenge! This week we don't want to see design paper on your card. :) Instead you have to make your own design paper with stamps or digital stamps. On my card I have used this cute stamp from the Avenger series: Super stamper avenger. I have colored the image with my pencils and the eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the circle nestabilities. I doodled on the edge of the circle with my black fineliner. I have used the strawberry fool cardstock from Elzybells for the card. On the white paper  I stamped all the craft tools. They are from a stamp set from Stampendous and it is actually for school/teachers, but I thought it was also perfect for Super stamper. These little images are also colored with my pencils. The sentiment was stamped with a stamp set from Elzybells and I punched it with a tag punch from Martha Stewart. The tag was attached to a bow from white ribbon with a little ring.

Huwelijkskaart

Goedeavond allemaal!

Hi goodevening everyone. I have had a really busy weekend. Today was my aunt's birthday and I have been at her house the whole day. I just got back home. It was a long day, but I did have a good time. I wanted to post this weddingcard that I made last week just before I am going to bed. I was inspired by this card from Sue Nelson and wanted to make my own version of it. I have used my silhouette ti cut 2 hearts in 2 different sizes. The larger one was used for the man. I have made a pattern from the big heart. This way I could cut the 2 pieces that I used for the suit of the man from the black striped paper. I used some red grosgrain ribbon to make a bow tie. The "buttons"" were attached with the hotfix. The smaller hearts was first embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I used some little pearls as buttons. I added a skirt from organza fabric. On top of the skirt I attached a couple of satin flowers. I wrapped a red grosgrain ribbon around the heart and top of that I also added a couple of pearls. The sentiment was printed on the inside of the card. I hope I have some time tomorrow to visit your blogs, because I didn't have tme last week.

Tiddly Inks - Geslaagd kaartje

Goedeavond allemaal. :( Gelukkig voel ik me nu beter.

Tiddly Inks challenge 4 - Yellow, turquoise and orange

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! Wow time flies, it is tuesday again and that means we have a new challenge for your on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. This week we have a color combination we want you to use on your card: Yellow, turquoise and orange. If you know me, you know that these are not really my colors, so it was a real challenge for me! LOL The image that I used on my card is the really sweet You rock. I have colored the image with derwent pencils. The eyes of the boy were colored with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the rectangle nestabilities. I doodled on the edges with a black fineliner. I made a checkered pattern for my card. I used the colors orange and yellow in my pattern, but unfortunately you can't see that very well on the picture. The sentiment is made with the chicken noodle alphabet from quickutz. In the corner of the car I added 3 hotfix stars. I hope to see you this week at the Tiddly Inks challenge!

Hi everyone! Today is the day, today we are having the Tiddly Inks BUGGY Blog Hop!! If you came here from Emma's blog, you are at the right place, otherwise you have to start at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog.
To celebrate the opening of the Tiddly Inks shop, we are having a blog hop today. Al the design team members, the guest designers, the special coloring friends and all other participants have made a card with the very cute buggy images from the Tiddly Inks shop. If you leave a comment on each blog of the bloghop, you have a chance to win some lovely prices. Two people can win gift certificates for the Tiddly Inks shop and Betty has given a lovely scrap pack. The winners will be announced on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog on the 10th of may.

I have chosen to use the very cute Send me a sign bugg. I have added a sentiment on the sign and I also gave my bug a dotted dress and hat. After I printed her, I colored her with derwent pencils. Her winds were colored with a dark blue pencil and then I added glitter. The eyes of the bug were colored with a black glaze pen. Then I cut the image out and used foamtape to mount it on my card. I have cut a card from dark blue papicolor cs with the circle nestabilities. I also cut a circle out of blue gingham paper. I used a white gelpen to draw the little dots on the edge of the dark blue card. On the gingham paper I have drawn faux stitching with a blue fineliner. I punched a little strip of blue paper with the dotted scallop border punch from EK Succes. I added a white ribbon with a bow. The flowers are made with the retro flower punches. In the middle I added a chrystal gem. The sketch I used is from Card Patterns.

The next stop on the blog hop is at Lisa's blog! Have fun over there and don't forget to leave a comment everywhere, because that way you have the chance to win some lovely prices! :)

DU2DS 037 - Anything goes

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone!. It is friday again and that means that it is time for a new challenge from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this week we have a really easy challenge, as it is Anything goes. So can you can decide what you want to make, the only thing we want you to use is a digital image. Sounds really easy doesn't it? I have used the great sketch from the Tuesday Morning sketchers for my card. The lovely image is from Chris (Sketchingstamper). I have colored the image Sunflowers with my derwent pencils and blue chalk. I have used the deckled nestabilities to cut the image out. The sentiment (congratulations) is a stamp from Hobbystempels.nl and I cut it also out with the deckled nestabilities. I have added a striped background on my yellow linen card and I added 3 hotfix stones above the image.

Tiddly Tutorial Thursday card - Fabric flowers

Goedemorgen allemaal.

Goodmorning everyone! Today it is my turn to write a tutorial on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. On Tuesday I said that I was going to show you how to create a fabric flower like the one that I used on my challenge card. If you want to know how I made it, please go and take a look at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Here on my blog I am going to show you the card and box that I made with the flowers that I made for the tutorial.

On my card I used the cute Joy bugg from the Tiddly Inks store. I printed the image on whipped cream cardstock from Elzybells and on the hat and dress of the bug I stamped the open dots with stamps from CC designs. I have colored the image with derwent pencils. I colored around the image with yellow chalk. The sentiment is a stamp from Elzybells. I used a gluedot to add the flower to the image. I have stolen the button from my mother's stash (sst don't tell her please). I have cut the image out with my square nestabilities. I have made a card from the whipped cream cardstock and stamped the open circles on it again and colored them with a derwent pencil.

I also made a little box together with my card.  In the box I added some bags of tea and I am going to add a little bag with chocolates, but I still have to buy those. The box is also made from the whipped cream cardstock from Elzybells. I have made a label for the box. I printed the image Joy bugg on the tag. The sentiment was stamped. I have drawn the faux stitching with a black fineliner.

On the lid of the box I stamped again with the open circle stamps and I colored them with a derwent pencil. I have cut the red shape out of red fabric with the nestabilities labels one. On top of the label I added the big fabric flower. I first placed a couple of green branches that I made with the floral punches from Nellie Snellen.

This is a picture of the inside of the box. I have added a piece of red cardstock under the images and under the red cardstock I attached a piece of ribbon. This way you can place the tea bags on the side walls. In the middle can a little bag with chocolates be added

Whats on your desk wednesday

What's on your desk wednesday. :)

The past few weeks I have seen a lot of pictures from workdesks on wednesday. Julia started a challenge a while ago where you have to post a picture of your desk on wednesday. Almost everyone who makes cards knows that your desk can get really messy when you are making a card. A couple of times I have seen great pictures on the blogs of friends, so I have decided to join this week with a picture of my mess. :) I am working on my card for DU2DS this friday. I have hided my image, you can see it this friday. On the picture you can see some of the stuff I am using for my card. Now I am going to write a tutorial for the Tiddly Inks challenge blog for tomorrow and then I am going to look at some pictures from the What's on your desk wednesday challenge.

Tiddly inks challenge 3 - Fabric invasion!

Goedemorgen allemaal!

DT Tiddly inks - Hip to be square

Goedemiddag allemaal!

Good afternoon everyone! Today I have made this card with one of the new images for may from the Tiddly inks shop. This great image is Hip to be square. I have coloured the image with koh-i-noor and derwent pencils. I have added colored glitter to some of the balloons, hats and presents. All the eyes of the animals are colored with a black glaze pen. I have used blue chalk to color around the image. The image was cut out with the octagon nestabilities. The nice striped paper is from a dutch store pipoos. I have printed the balloon from the cat another 6 times and after coloring them I cut them out and adhered them on top of the ribbon.

I have printed the image 3 times. I used one of the image to 3d part of the image. You can see it really well on the picture.

On the inside of the card I have stamped the sentiment with a stamp set from Doodlebug. I adhered another strip of the patterned paper. The purple paper was punched with an edge punch from fiskars. On top of the strip I placed the cat, dog and turtle.
